BILINGUAL PROJECT
Bilingual Hori
The need for a second language for the future is now unquestionable. And we know that the easiest way to achieve this is to learn it in a natural way, and at the best time. And this is: NOW. From the beginning, from babies. Just as the mother tongue is learned.
That is why our bilingual project is one of the strengths of our school, and why all our staff is fluent in Spanish and English.
We are committed to learning a second language by exposing children to English in a natural way throughout the day, just as any language is learned. That is why our support educators speak in this language throughout the day and although we carry out activities using English as a vehicular language, our way of learning it is not based on specific activities, but in that it is found daily in all spaces and in all our contents, centers of interest and activities that we carry out in each of our classrooms.
Our methodology combines our experience in the infant stage with the Jolly Phonics method , which favors learning through hearing, phonetic and syntactic differentiation and integrating image, sound and movement, since through this method children relate words with action and with the phonemes of the English language, having a multisensory and playful approach that initiates children in a playful way in this new learning.
