Our facilities also define us and reflect who we are and what we want, forming part of our personality and enhancing the learning we want to promote. That is why, for us, all spaces are educational.
Horizonte is a modern school, with spaces designed to meet the needs of children and decorated without excesses so as not to overstimulate the sensory systems of the youngest, betting on classrooms with open spaces and decorations and furniture useful for our children.
And of course, safe spaces. That comply with all health and safety guarantees, with protected doors and corners, sockets at height, adapted materials, toys that comply with European regulations… because we know that we have the most delicate “material” in our classrooms: your children.
We have recreated a whole galaxy around Hori, our mascot, an astronaut, who will travel and enjoy with us all the spaces of our school.

To grow up healthy, it is essential to eat well. We are aware that children eat almost every day at school, so we must be very careful with our menus and the way we prepare them.
To achieve this, we have our own kitchen and a menu prepared by nutritionists specialized in children’s nutrition, and we also have special menus for children with allergies or for special situations (gastroenteritis, etc.).
But we not only focus on offering healthy food, with balanced menus according to the nutritional needs of each stage and complying with current food safety standards. We also encourage the learning of autonomy habits at the table, making the meal a social and enjoyable moment.
In addition, we create healthy habits that last over time to take care of both their physical and cognitive development. Because “we are what we eat”.
And we have a finger-licking kitchen.
OUR FOREST
Green Planet
Did you notice when you walked in all the space surrounding our school?
Yes, we have a wonderful green space, our forest. A play area with natural materials that favor discovery, movement, sensoriality… and also where we carry out all kinds of activities taking advantage of the good weather. More than a thousand square meters to play and learn in a natural environment without leaving the school.
And a wonderful Sensory Garden. Because we have created for all our children a space in which to stimulate all their senses taking advantage of the green facilities of our school. Using visual, auditory, tactile, gustatory and olfactory elements also in them to live new experiences with all their senses.
It has tactile panels, planters with aromatic plants, our garden in which we take responsibility for the care of our harvest, which we then taste and share with our families. We also have a garden where we have seasonal flowers and plants that we change with some very special gardeners, our children.
And a space in which to stimulate the sight with its colors, touch by touching the leaves, hearing with wind instruments placed throughout the space as bells, windbreakers … and a rest area in which to relax listening to the silence with hammocks, cushions, umbrellas … A space designed to be enjoyed by children, families and the entire educational community.
